Organic cotton

Organic cotton is grown with natural compost which replaces chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It is GMO-free and the water consumption required for its cultivation is halved compared to conventional cotton. Its fiber is bleached with hydrogen peroxide and not with chlorine. The dyes are made without heavy metals or other carcinogenic substances.

Softer and more flexible, organic cotton fiber is thicker and hypoallergenic.

Organic linen

An ecological fabric, made from a natural fiber

The culture of flax  does not require fertilizer or watering, rain is enough. The transformation of the plant into wire is carried out through  natural and non-chemical processes  (retting and scutching). This is why we are talking about  eco-friendly fabric. Especially since flax is very energy efficient to produce.

Flax  gives a feeling of  cool in summer  and keep the  heat in winter. Thanks to its thermoregulating power, pure linen is very popular in clothes.

Natural fiber, linen has hypoallergenic properties. Linen fabric is a healthy material which has a beneficial effect on dermatological conditions and which  does not irritate the skin. Its absorbency makes it ideal for direct contact with the skin.

Tissue  linen can absorb 20% moisture without appearing wet. So he has a  high absorption capacity, but it  also dries quickly. Thus it removes perspiration from the skin without leaving traces. The linen fabric ripples to dry and thus becomes cool.

Linen is the strongest textile fiber.  Pure linen fabric  does not fluff or deform and the more you wash it, the softer it becomes. Because of these qualities, the linen fabric is durable and resists very well over time.

Lyocell

Has a  excellent resistance,  good fabric breathability  and high moisture absorption capacity. Lyocell is also hypoallergenic because it can filter bacteria and pollutants. The fiber produced is smooth and elastic, unlike cotton. Regarding resistance, we notice that lyocell fabrics are perfectly resistant to washing up to 40 °.

Lyocell is obtained from eucalyptus or deciduous trees.

It is a fiber also known as tencel. Widely used in the clothing industry because it is environmentally friendly, it is made from cellulose, therefore biodegradable.

Hemp

Is very comfortable. It is ideal for sensitive skin  and for people with rheumatism. The micro electronic waves of the hemp fiber correspond exactly to the static waves of the skin, while the artificial fibers produce static electricity.

Relaxing for the skin, the hemp can  absorb up to 30% moisture  without causing chemical reactions and without sticking to the skin.

Hemp clothing retains 95% of UV rays

Its thermoregulatory power allows hemp clothing  of  remains   cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Hemp fiber is one of the fibers  the most resistant in traction  and has a very low elongation rate which gives garments  a fairly exceptional resistance  to deformation and aging.

Particularly ecological, hemp  does not require  no intake of chemicals  in its growth and treatment

For comparison, hemp requires  10 times less water than cotton.

The modal

Modal is an alternative, natural and very resistant material. Still too little used, modal has particularly incredible properties. It is obtained by a chemical process of transformation of natural fibers.

After removing the bark from the tree, the wood is finely chopped so that the cellulose can be extracted which will then be processed through a process. The production of modal  very little impact on the environment because its manufacture does not require any dangerous chemical components, neither oil nor gas.

Based on a renewable raw material, it is one of the most sustainable processes because it  request  less water and less energy  than that of other textiles such as, for example, cotton.

Modal is distinguished by a different spinning process and much more resistant properties. We combine  often modal with other fibers to be able to create new fabrics with ever more innovative characteristics.

Modal is one of the most  resistant. It offers an exceptional feeling of second skin.  This natural fiber has the particularity of retaining its colors as well as its flexibility.  throughout its life cycle.

Absorption, breathability, strength, softness, this artificial fiber of plant origin is ideal for use close to the body.
